Courtney Moretti

Courtney is a non-dietitian dietitian and credentialed eating disorder clinician who is here for you. Courtney is a warm and engaging human who is passionate about working with those who find their relationship with food a difficult one. Courtney aims to provide a brave space where individuals can challenge their eating disorder and move towards recovery.

Courtney graduated as a Dietitian from the University of Wollongong and has experience working in both the public and private sectors of health supporting individuals and their families to find a sustainable relationship with food.

Courtney aligns with a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework when working with clients and focuses on a trauma-informed approach whilst drawing from different therapeutic approaches to support individuals in their recovery journey.

Having recovered from an eating disorder herself Courtney knows firsthand how an eating disorder can impact your life and sense of self. Therefore, is passionate about individuals finding their own journey to recovery and life free of an eating disorder.

Courtney also found a love for making sourdough and now has a shed dedicated to bread (aka. the bread shed). Courtney has found bread making to be so relevant to healing your relationship with food and has found it to be a ‘perfect’ medium in sharing share her love of food. You will also find her dog-daughter, Sia not far and will likely show her face in sessions.

  • Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (ANZED)

  • Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from Wollongong University

  • Bachelors in Nutrition Science from Wollongong University

Sia (Dog-therapist)

Sia is a gorgeous 10-year-old who has been mistaken for a human child more than once—she takes it as a compliment. After having so much fun travelling Australia and meeting so many animals and people, she has now settled into the good life in Tasmania. Sia now spends her days, going for walks or a run, collecting chicken eggs and has a rigorous nap schedule. As Courtney’s most loyal therapy-sidekick and the official bread shed taste tester, Sia takes her roles very seriously—especially when carbs are involved.
